Protocol Overview

The core Sapling protocol consists of a Sapling Pool and any number of Community Bank Borrowers, with three main actors: Borrowers, Lenders and First Loss Capital Providers.

Figure 1 provides a high-level overview of interactions between Sapling core components and those protocol actors:
